The Engineered Bar Products Division has the capacity to process 300,000 tons of bars annually in its 150,000-square-foot bar-finishing facility.

Medart Straightener

  • Turner (1.00" - 4.25" Capacity) can turn 1/16-1/8th per pass

Turning Line 3"

  • Three High Temperature Furnace for ALL Aspects of HT (2100F)
                          Predominately for Q & T as well as Normalize Cycles
  • Two Low Temperatures Furnace for Stress Relieve and Tempering Cycles (1800F)
  • 30,000 gallon Water Quench Tank, Turbine stirred (No Additives)
  • 10' - 35' max
  • 2" minimum for Anneal and Normalize
  • 2.5" minimum for Q + T orders to be straightened

  • Nine Roll Rotary Straightener (Bronx) up to 5"RD (5" pre straightened on Medart)
  • Chamfer Units
  • Grade Verification 
  • Flux Leakage Tester - Surface Defects
  • UT Tester - Surface (Shear Wave) & Internal Testing
  • Inspection equipment 1-5"RD
